Understanding AI Credits and Daily Limits
How the AI credit system works and how to manage your budget.
Credit System
AI features consume credits from your daily budget. The budget is determined by your plan:

What Consumes Credits
Each AI interaction costs credits:
- AI Chat message → 1 credit
- Auto-triage (per new error group) → 1 credit
- Error Explain/Fix/Analyze → 1 credit each
- Incident Timeline → 1 credit
- Incident Report → 1 credit
- Release Impact Analysis/Summary/Compare → 1 credit each
- Rollback Advisor → 1 credit
- AI Alert Creation → 1 credit
- AI Alert Suggestion → 1 credit
Daily Reset
Credits reset at midnight UTC every day. Unused credits do not roll over.
When Credits Run Out
A banner appears in the dashboard. AI features become temporarily unavailable until the next reset. You can still use all non-AI features normally.
Monitoring Usage
Your remaining AI credits are visible in the top-right corner of the dashboard alongside your log usage counter.
