How Auto-Triage Classifies and Prioritizes Errors

Let AI automatically assess severity and suggest next steps for every new error.

What Is Auto-Triage?

When enabled, Lognitor automatically runs AI analysis on every new error group. Within seconds of a new error appearing, you see a triage card at the top of the error detail page.

The Triage Card

The card shows:

  • Severity — HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW based on impact analysis
  • Root cause summary — a concise explanation of what went wrong
  • Suggested fix — actionable next steps
  • Affected users — how many users hit this error

Severity Classification

SeverityCriteria
HIGHAffects many users, blocks core functionality, or involves data loss
MEDIUMAffects some users, degrades but doesn't block functionality
LOWAffects few users, cosmetic or non-critical

Enabling Auto-Triage

Auto-triage is enabled when AI features are turned on for your organization (Settings → AI Features toggle). It runs automatically — no per-error configuration needed.

Benefits

Without auto-triage, your team opens each error, reads the stack trace, investigates the context, and decides priority. With auto-triage, the first responder immediately sees severity, root cause, and a suggested fix — reducing triage time from minutes to seconds.
