How Auto-Triage Classifies and Prioritizes Errors
Let AI automatically assess severity and suggest next steps for every new error.
What Is Auto-Triage?
When enabled, Lognitor automatically runs AI analysis on every new error group. Within seconds of a new error appearing, you see a triage card at the top of the error detail page.
The Triage Card
The card shows:
- Severity — HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW based on impact analysis
- Root cause summary — a concise explanation of what went wrong
- Suggested fix — actionable next steps
- Affected users — how many users hit this error
Severity Classification
| Severity | Criteria |
|---|---|
| HIGH | Affects many users, blocks core functionality, or involves data loss |
| MEDIUM | Affects some users, degrades but doesn't block functionality |
| LOW | Affects few users, cosmetic or non-critical |
Enabling Auto-Triage
Auto-triage is enabled when AI features are turned on for your organization (Settings → AI Features toggle). It runs automatically — no per-error configuration needed.
Benefits
Without auto-triage, your team opens each error, reads the stack trace, investigates the context, and decides priority. With auto-triage, the first responder immediately sees severity, root cause, and a suggested fix — reducing triage time from minutes to seconds.
