Generating Incident Timelines and Reports

Reconstruct what happened across your services with AI.

Incident Timeline

On the Dashboard, click "What happened?" to generate a timeline. AI reconstructs the chain of events across your services in chronological order.

Example timeline:

  1. 14:03:21 — Database connection pool hit max capacity (100/100)
  2. 14:03:22 — PaymentService queries start queuing (>30s timeout)
  3. 14:03:34 — PaymentService.processCharge() timeout errors begin
  4. 14:03:35 — 3 users affected, error rate spiked to 12%
  5. 14:03:41 — Auto-triage classified as HIGH severity

Incident Report

Click "Generate Incident Report" to get a comprehensive report including:

  • Summary — what happened in 2-3 sentences
  • Root cause — the underlying issue
  • Timeline — chronological event chain
  • Impact — affected services, users, and duration
  • Action items — recommended fixes

This report is useful for post-mortems and team communication.

Time Window

You can select the time window for the analysis (e.g., Last 1h, Last 24h). A narrower window produces more focused results.

Share the report

Incident reports include a "Copy" button to paste the report into Slack, email, or your incident management tool.
